Harlingen, home of the Historic port and pickup place sail Harlingen, magnificent city, situated directly on the Wadden Sea with many sights. Well-accessible by car, coach or train (stops at the port) and spacious parking facilities, also for longer time.

A real seaport situated directly on the Wadden Sea for the Wadden-sailing cruises sail by the SHZH. Fishing port, industry port and home of 70 historic sailing ships. A guided city walk along the monumental houses with facades from the 17th and 18th century, is definitely worthwhile. Harlingen also features a own tile and pottery factory.

On Friday and on Sunday afternoon its a sail-in en sail out the Historic sailingships, a spectacular sight.
