During these events you can board one of the ships of our partner TSC and experience the events from the water. Choose a trip from 3 hours, or join us for the whole day. Of course you will be provided with a drink, after which you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of a harbor full of ships of all shapes and sizes, help hoist the sails. Also fun for children of all ages!

Hamburger Hafengeburtstag / May 2024,  9-12, Hamburg

The largest and most versatile port festival in the world! Join more than a million visitors in celebrating the 834th anniversary of the Port of Hamburg. At the beginning of May, the gateway to the world is once again immersed in a unique maritime setting with a varied weekend program with many attractions! The great atmosphere stretches along the Elbe with more than 300 floating guests, from the trendy HafenCity marina to the museum port Oevelgönne.

Look out for imposing tall ships, spectacular naval vessels, unique museum and traditional ships and impressive cruise ships. Many of them, of course, allow you to step aboard and look around. Concert lovers can listen to a wide variety of musical acts on numerous stages, the whole family can look forward to program highlights for young and old, and then enjoy culinary delights on the colorful harbor mile. Our annually changing country partner offers a festival with insight into the culture and way of life. Celebrate with us this top-class maritime event!

Kieler Woche / June 2024, 22-30, Kiel

If you love sailing, don’t miss the Kieler Woche! It is the largest sailing event in the world which attracts more than 3 million visitors annually. About 5,000 sailors from more than 50 countries compete against each other in about 2,000 boats. The sailing events stretch along the entire Kieler Fjord. In addition to sailing, the event also features a large folk and music festival. International and local bands play on public stages scattered throughout the city, interspersed with street performers and comedy. Another maritime highlight is the Windjammer Parade. More than a hundred historic sailing yachts and steamers, and hundreds of other yachts participate, as well as several naval vessels from other countries. The Kieler Woche traditionally ends with the Sternenzauber über Kiel, a twenty-minute fireworks show over the Kieler Fjord.

Hanse Sail / August 2024, 8-11, Rostock

The opportunity to see as many tall ships together as possible is Hanse Sail in Rostock! A fleet of more than 100 traditional and museum ships moors at the edge of the quay and invites you to admire and sail along. On land, the event offers diverse experiences for young and old! Stages, culinary delicacies, maritime experiences, old sailing traditions, sailing races and more. A visit to Hanse Sail becomes even more fun with a sailing trip!
