Since 1985 the Historische Zeilvaart Harlingen (SHZH) has been organising group sailingtrips on historic and classical sailing ships.
The common objective of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative is to maintain our beautiful sailing ships, to keep them sailing and to make them accessible to everyone. Traditional sailing deserves that.

All skippers of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative are members of the SHZH.
They are passionate about all vessels and pay serious attention to the wishes of the passengers. The unique way of working of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative is a result of a personal approach and the short lines of communication between client, office and skipper.

Endless possibilities

It is possible to hire a sailing ship of the Harlingen Historic Sailing Vessels Cooperative for one day, two days, a weekend, midweek, a week or even longer.
