A sailing trip on an historic sailing ship from SHZH is an experience. Even if you wish to enjoy one of our stunning sailing trips on Lake IJssel or the Wadden Sea on your own. A week, midweek or weekend on the water brings out the best in you.
Irrespective of whether you do a sailing trip on your own, with someone else or with your family; and irrespective of whether you have experience in sailing or not. Our professional crew provide guidance on sailing trips, teach you how to tug the bulkheads or let you relax and laze on deck.
Al our sailing trips start in the Frisian port town of Harlingen.
You get aboard and are introduced to the other people on board. Together with the skipper you plan the sailing trip based on your wishes, the weather forecast and the tide table. For example, sail to the islands of Vlieland or Terschelling or to Lake IJssel on the weekend and be pleasantly surprised by the unique scenery. On longer sailing trips you can set course for the eastern part of the Wadden Sea, to the islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog.
